§ 54-133. Responsibility for enforcement.

It shall be the duty of the county and its agent, if any, to enforce the prompt collection of fire protection assessments by the means provided in this section. The duties related to collection of fire protection assessments may be enforced at the suit of any holder of obligations secured by such fire protection assessment in a court of competent jurisdiction by mandamus or other appropriate proceeding or action.
