§ 10-23. Animals in heat.

  • No person owning or having custody of any female animal shall permit such animal off the premises of the owner or person having control of such animal when such animal shall be in heat. Every female animal in heat shall be confined in a building or secure enclosure in such a manner that such female animal cannot come into contact with another animal except for planned breeding.
