§ 10-22. Striking animal with vehicle; motorist responsibility.

Any person who, as an operator of a motor vehicle, strikes an animal shall stop at once and render such assistance as may be practical and shall immediately report such injury or death to the appropriate law enforcement agency and the owner if known.
