§ 2-102. Procedure for payment of expenses permitted by section 2-101.

(a)

The expenditure of county funds for expenses permitted by section 2-101 of the Okeechobee County Code may be authorized by the board of county commissioners in any amount or may be authorized by the county administrator in an amount not to exceed $250.00, who shall thereafter advise the board of county commissioners, on not less than a quarterly basis, of all expenditures made pursuant to this section.

(b)

The county administrator and/or the board of county commissioners may provide, by administrative order or resolution, for further procedures to implement this section.

(c)

Nothing in this section shall be deemed to authorize any expenditures in violation of the county's purchasing policy, of F.S. ch. 112, or of other federal, state, or local law.
