Governing body
means the Board of County Commissioners of Okeechobee County, Florida, as well as
any board, committee, or authority appointed or established by the board of county
commissioners and includes both elected and appointed members thereof.
County
means Okeechobee county or any elected or appointed subdivision thereof but excludes
any municipality.
Public meeting
means any meeting of the governing body of the county, whether designated as a regular
meeting, special meeting, or emergency meeting, not otherwise exempt from public meeting
requirements under state or federal law.
